Will Tim Tebow pan out in an Elway-run Broncos organization?

The first question to is why not?
One thing that most, if not all, Bronco fans have forgotten is that Elway was criticized early in his career.  In fact, during his rookie season he had twice as many interceptions than touchdown passes (14-7).  In year two, he was +3 in this category, but regressed to -1 in the following season.
While Elway was a polished prototypical QB coming out of college, Tebow was quite the opposite.  Like Tebow, Elway was however known for his running.  While he may not have been fast-a-foot, Elway was known to keep defenses honest.  In fact, during his first three seasons, Elway rushed for an average of 212 yards, while in his first season, Tebow rushed for 227 yards.  The main difference between their rushing was that Elway only had two rushing TDs in his first three seasons and Tebow had six in less than one season.  Tebow was also mainly used as a running QB in goal line situations, until the final three games of the season when he took over the starting job from Kyle Orton.
John Elway is by far the biggest sports personality ever in Colorado…and it’s not even remotely close.  He is so far ahead of the second biggest personality, that he can’t even see who is trailing him.  It’s funny, even though he’s only been a Bronco for eight months; Tebow probably ranks pretty highly on this list.  Who better to help Tebow navigate these waters?
According to SI.com, on several occasions Elway has stated that Tebow is a good football player, but he has to become a good quarterback.  Who could possibly be a better teacher for Tebow than Elway?
One thing is for certain, Tebow will never stop trying to obtain his goal of being a permanent starting QB in the NFL.
If given enough time, I believe that Tebow will pan-out in an Elway run organization.
